Introduction to sowing and propagation
As a kind of orchid, exclusive spring, like other orchids, is not suitable for propagation by sowing method p>
This is because its seeds are very small, the seed coat is thick and waxy, so it is difficult to absorb water. In addition, its intraspecific structure is not complete, the development of embryo is not complete, the slice embryo is not mature, and it lacks the support of nutrients. This makes it difficult for it to germinate with the general sowing method p>
In addition, there is a lack of orchid bacteria. Orchid fungus is a kind of fungus associated with orchid strain. It can invade its own mycelium into the root of orchid and form a symbiotic relationship with orchid. Orchids can get nourishment and water from them, and they can also absorb carbohydrates and other substances from orchids. In addition, it can also provide some substances lacking in the seed itself during seed germination for use during seed germination p>
Family sowing
To plant exclusive spring by sowing, we must first solve the problem of insufficient seed germination. Therefore, we can choose some planting soil containing orchid fungus for planting p>
First select a flower pot of moderate size and put the prepared planting soil into it. The planting soil should have good air permeability, which is conducive to seed germination. The fertility of planting soil should be appropriate, not too much p>
Put the seed on the surface of planting soil, and then cover it with planting soil to bury it in the soil. Because its seed volume is very small, tools can be used when sowing to avoid damaging the seed. The soil covered on the seeds should not be too thick, about 1cm p>
Finally, it is necessary to wet the planting soil to give it a good germination condition p>
Laboratory seeding
When sowing in the laboratory, the culture medium can be used to provide the nutrition needed for seed germination p>
First, soak the seeds in 10% sodium hypochlorite solution for 5 ~ 10 minutes to weaken the seed coat and increase the permeability of required nutrients. Then wash with pure water and dry p>
Then it was sown on a container containing medium and cultured in a dark room at 25 ℃ p>
When it germinates, move it to the light to form a seed ball for sowing p>
