1. Pruning stumps
Carefully check the stump. If there is decay in the root and branches, trim it off, and then cut it along the root with a knife to cut a circle of inclined mouth about 1cm wide to expose fresh roots, which is more conducive to new roots p>
2. Soak the root in carbendazim solution
Soak the root of the tree stump in carbendazim solution, apply carbendazim to the wound on the branch for sterilization, take it out after half an hour, and dry it in a cool and ventilated place p>
3. Apply river sand to the branch and trunk section
Apply the river sand evenly on the section above the branches and cover the section p>
4. Seal the branch section with plastic bag
Wrap the thicker plastic bag on the section, and then bind the plastic bag with a rope, which can moisturize, promote the emergence of new buds and improve the survival rate p>
5. Prepare rooting powder and alcohol
Buy some rooting powder and prepare alcohol and small dishes p>
6. Pour the rooting powder into the dish
Tear up the package of rooting powder and pour it into the plate p>
7. Pour alcohol into rooting powder
Rooting powder dissolves better in alcohol. If there is no alcohol, water can also be used p>
8. Stir the alcohol and rooting powder evenly
Stir the rooting powder and alcohol evenly with a small stick p>
9. Pour the rooting powder solution into the water basin
Find a large basin, the size of which should be able to hold tree stumps. Pour clean water into the basin and pour it into 1 / 3 of the basin. Then pour the rooting powder solution into the basin and stir it to dissolve it evenly in the water p>
10. Put the root into the basin
Put the root of the tree stump upright into the water. If the tree stump is fresh, soak it for 2-4 hours. If it is not too fresh, it can be extended to about 12 hours to let the tree stump absorb enough water p>
11. Basin bottom cushion gauze net
Find a large flowerpot and put a gauze net on the drainage hole at the bottom of the basin to prevent soil leakage p>
12. Layered soil preparation
As shown in the figure below, put the mixed soil of river sand and plain soil on the bottom of the basin, accounting for half of the volume of the flowerpot. The ratio of river sand to plain soil is 3:2, and then lay pure river sand p>
13. Plant stumps in pots
After the stump is soaked in rooting water, take it out and shallow plant it in a basin p>
14. Pile a circle of pure river sand at the root
Find a hard paper shell, insert it into the river sand around the root, fasten it with a rope, and then pour pure river sand into the paper shell, as shown in the figure below. Pour the used rooting water into the flowerpot and pour it through p>
15. Put on the plastic bag
Put a plastic bag on the tree stump, remember to poke three holes for ventilation, which can improve the humidity and temperature, promote the germination of roots and new buds, put it in a cool and ventilated place, keep the soil slightly wet, and new buds can grow in about half a month! Put it in a sunny place p>
