Operation method:

1. Prepare sharp blades and disinfect them with alcohol

2. Remove the dilapidated Clivia from the basin, wipe it with a knife, and cut off all the leaves

3. Trim the old and empty roots, and then soak the Clivia roots in potassium permanganate solution. If not, purple potion can be used instead. Soak for 5 minutes, take it out and dry in the shade

4. Prepare soil and mix with 4 parts of coarse river sand, 3 parts of soft pine needles and 3 parts of rotten leaf soil. The soil is exposed to the sun for a few days before the pot to reduce bacterial infection

5. Bury the old roots of Clivia in the soil, and the root section should expose the soil. Water less at ordinary times. The soil can be slightly wet. Don't be waterlogged

6. The process of holding buds is relatively long. The fastest is three months. If it is slow, buds will appear in about half a year. The small green spots growing on the root system are new buds

7. This trowel method is the fastest way to cultivate Qun LAN, and the budding time is relatively uniform, the leaf size is symmetrical, and the flowering time is not much different

8. In general, this method requires patience. If your Clivia is not in good condition or growing well and your leaves are sick, you can try it. Beginners of orchid cultivation should not try it easily

When Clivia is well raised, it will burst into small buds and fill the basin

After three or four years of growth, Clivia will also produce some lateral buds if it is properly maintained. If it is not divided into pots, it will eventually grow into a group of orchids. Clivia is a fat loving plant. If you want to make small buds, you have to keep up with the nutrition. So how to apply fertilizer

1、 Application of base fertilizer

1. When changing the basin, first cover the basin bottom with a layer of soil 2 or 3cm thick, then sprinkle some cooked melon seeds or pockmarks, and then cover it with soil. Use about 20 seeds at a time

2. For Clivia who loves to "eat" melon seeds, melon seeds are a good slow-release fertilizer. In the next six months to one year, the fertilizer effect of melon seeds will be released slowly and gently

2、 Topdressing in growing season

1. Collect the leftover pig bones and chicken bones, add water to boil and remove the salt. Then take it out to dry and expose it to the sun for 3 ~ 5 days

2. Smash the dried bones with a hammer or garlic mortar. The finer the better. When using, add 20 times of water, and use it 1 ~ 2 times a month
