Luhe Hongsheng is afraid of sun exposure. Strong sun exposure in summer will cause the plant to stop physiological metabolism and enter a dormant state. Therefore, we can choose to shade it appropriately from June to August when the sun is strong to prevent it from being sunburned by the hot sun

2. Moisture

It doesn't require much water and likes to grow in a dry environment. This requires us not to pour too much water when maintaining it at ordinary times, and then pour it after the soil is dry

3. Flower soil

It likes relatively soft and nutrient rich flower soil, combined with its dry characteristics, so we'd better plant it in a loose and fertile place conducive to drainage, cool and ventilated place, not in a place with serious ponding and heavy wet soil. Ratio of planting flower soil: 6 parts of ordinary culture soil, 3 parts of fertilizer soil and 1 part of slag ash

2、 Precautions:

1. Do not water more

It is not suitable to water more for the red growth of Luhe. In summer, when the weather is hot and the ground is dry, you can water it appropriately. Remember to water too much. It is necessary to dredge the ponding in rainstorm weather and plum rain season, so as not to cause poor root development. In order to drain the flower soil itself smoothly, you need to loosen the soil three times a year

2. Controlled fertilization

Luhehong belongs to a new variety of peony. It does not need to apply concentrated fertilizer. It needs to apply an appropriate amount of base fertilizer in winter. The base fertilizer needs to be covered with some culture soil to avoid direct contact between the fertilizer and its roots. After flowering, because flowering consumes a lot of self nutrition, topdressing can be done once, and there is no need to add additional flower fertilizer in other seasons

3. Plant management

Before flowering, it is necessary to manage the buds of luhehong and find the top bud of the main branch. If it is a leaf bud, it should be removed. The leaf bud will grow vegetatively and absorb too much nutrients, which will affect the reproductive growth of flower buds. After flowering, because the branches of luhehong are too thin and fragile, if the flowers are too large and heavy, they are easy to break in stormy weather, we should pay attention to timely use sticks, bamboo and other auxiliary materials to support the flowers. If the seeds of Luhe red are not needed, remove the seed package after the flowers wither, so as to prevent the seeds from capturing additional nutrition
