So what should I do to get an acidic soil. Every household can use white vinegar. In addition to its seasoning function, it can also be used to adjust the pH of the soil

Every time you water the azalea, drop a few drops of white vinegar into the water to get an acidic soil

Of course, if it is planted in the ground or a friend who is too troublesome, you can bury sulfur powder in the soil. After being buried, the sulfur powder will be oxidized, which can also make it acidic

Key points of maintenance 2: fertilization

Rhododendron is a plant that likes fertilizer very much, but is prone to fertilizer injury. When fertilizing azalea, we must abide by the "thin fertilizer and frequent application", otherwise the fertilizer injury and death caused by improper fertilization will not pay off

Now is the flowering period of the azalea. I will mix the cake fertilizer with water for the azalea. Cake fertilizer can provide nutrients for azalea, so as to ensure the nutrition required for flowering

Of course, cake fertilizer alone is not enough. I will also use a urea, because Rhododendron is a plant with new shoots and flowers. If you want to bloom well, you have to grow well

The single flower of Rhododendron can bloom for a long time, but once it fails, it needs to be cut off to avoid the inhibition of flower formation in the later stage caused by nutrient diversion

Also, the weak branches should be trimmed. The weak branches can't produce big colorful flowers~

After flowering and pruning, do a good job in water and fertilizer management, and bloom again at the end of June, so as to prolong the flowering time

Red spider can be killed by spraying avermectin once a week for three or four times in a row. Remember to spray on the back of the leaf, which is the hardest hit area of Starscream
