1、 Kapok cutting method
1. Cutting time: it is recommended to conduct cutting propagation of kapok in spring. The climate, temperature and humidity are very suitable, which is conducive to the survival and rooting of cuttings p>
2. Select cuttings: cuttings should be selected within three years, with stronger germination ability. The length should be controlled at about 7 cm. Cut off the upper leaves and leave only the top two p>
3. Preparation for bed insertion: the height of the bed insertion shall be controlled at 50 cm, 5 meters long and 2 meters wide. The bottom should be paved with 5 deep vegetable garden soil, and the surface should be covered with a layer of 3cm thick sand p>
4. Cutting into soil: after the cutting bed is ready, you can cut into soil. When cutting, insert the cuttings directly into the cutting bed, and the depth is about half of the cuttings. After planting, the surrounding soil should be compacted, straw should be paved, and water should be sprayed on it to maintain a certain temperature and humidity. The rooting speed of cutting is slower. It usually takes a month or so. You should wait patiently p>
2、 How long will kapok cuttings bloom
How long kapok cuttings can bloom depends on the climate environment and soil conditions of the cultivation area. If the environment is suitable, they may bloom in two or three years. If the climate is not suitable and the growth is not very good, the flowering time will be prolonged, which may take about five years p>
