Cutting can be carried out in spring and autumn, and the normal flowering time is in spring

Preparation of cuttings

When the plant is in dormancy, we can select the mother plant with good growth, select the healthy branches on it, and cut them into 10-15 cm cuttings. The upper incision should be 1-1.5 cm away from the bud point, and the lower distance should be 0.3-0.5 cm

Processing cuttings

After cutting, soak the wound with rooting powder for 12 to 24 hours, so as to promote the growth of roots

Preparation of matrix

Before cutting, we should prepare the soil for cutting. Usually, acid or neutral soil with good ventilation and moderate water retention can be used. It is suggested that river sand is the best, because it will greatly increase its survival rate. After the matrix is ready, it can only be used after it is sterilized

Cutting plant

Before inserting the cuttings into the soil, we should first dig a ditch in the soil, and then bury the cuttings in it. The depth is more than half of the cuttings. After inserting, find a film to cover it, mainly to increase the humidity of the air. Next, we need to manage it carefully.
