1、 Ground planting soil

If it is planted in the open air, it should be planted in an area with sunshine and no ponding. It is also possible to use common cultivation soil and soil with moderate pH or slightly alkaline soil. It is suitable for relatively breathable fertile soil. The soil should be deep enough to drain water

2、 Potting soil

If it is planted in the basin, the bottom of the basin should be paved with small stones, which should be 3 ~ 5cm thick to facilitate it to discharge excess water. The soil in the basin is best mixed with some cake fertilizer with loess, or animal manure with ordinary garden soil and coarse sand

3、 Precautions

Before planting, pay attention to let its roots stretch out, not curl it. After planting, press the soil tightly with your hands, so that the roots can be in close contact with the soil, so that it can survive more easily

3、 Soil fertilization

1. After putting it into the basin, water it thoroughly and put it in a cool place to let it recover slowly. During normal management, it can be placed in a warm and sunny place to ensure sufficient sunshine

2. The newly planted flower cannot be fertilized immediately, especially the fertilizer with high concentration, otherwise its meat root will be moldy

3. After six months, the new flowers can slowly add some animal manure or other thin fertilizer. During its growth, it should often loosen the soil and use compound fertilizer every 15 days or so

4. After planting for a year or two, it can grow flowers every year. It usually grows flowers in April. Before it grows, it can be added with liquid fertilizer once or twice. Liquid fertilizer can be added once or twice in half a month after the flower grows, and dry fertilizer can be added to it in hot weather to help its flower bud germination
