1. Time
This method we adopt is actually better, but because of the environment and other reasons, we should control the time. It is better to carry out this operation from May to June, because Meiyu will also come at this stage p>
2. Rootstock
Generally, we need to use the two-year-old and well-developed single stem hairy Rhododendron as the rootstock. We need to understand that plants of the same genus cannot be used as their rootstock, so the affinity will be much weaker. In addition, the thickness of new shoots and Scions should be consistent. Generally, the varieties we use are Jade Butterfly and purple butterfly. Moreover, the scion is best to use the relatively strong young branches of Western cuckoo that grow in that year p>
3. Operation
The specific operation we need to do is relatively simple. First, we should select a tender shoot about 34 cm long on its mother plant, and then remove the lower leaves. As long as three or four leaves at the upper end are left, then we cut the bottom and make it wedge-shaped, and the cutting length should be controlled to about 0.5 to 1 cm. Cut off two or three centimeters from the new shoots of the cuckoo that year, then remove the leaves of this section, cut it longitudinally for about one centimeter, insert the scion, then align the cortex with the cambium, and then bind it with plastic film or strip. Then we should put the scion in the plastic film, tie the bag mouth tightly, and keep the humidity and temperature well p>
After completion, we should put it under the cool shed. We must not let the sun directly shine on it, and we should pay attention to whether there are water droplets in the bag. If not, we should untie it, spray it wet, and then tie up its scions again. Generally, one week after the scion, if it does not wilt, it will succeed. About two months later, we can take off the bag and untie the belt in the spring of next year. Generally, the survival rate of such seeds is particularly high, and there will be several colors on one plant, which looks beautiful, which is also the benefit of grafting p>
