2. Selection and treatment of cuttings

(1) The selection of cuttings has a great impact on the success rate of cuttings. We should choose those new branches that are strong, free of diseases and pests and born in the same year, but also lignified. Cut it off in cloudy or morning

(2) Treatment: the length is about six to seven centimeters. The incision at the lower end should be inclined and smooth. This way the wound heals easily. In addition, it is better to have two palm leaves on each cuttings for photosynthesis

3. Select matrix

The matrix should be prepared in advance, and perlite is generally better

4. Cutting

(1) First, soak half of the cuttings in the rooting solution for about 20 hours to a day. Then take it out and rinse it with clean water to facilitate germination

(2) After that, the processed insert is inserted into the prepared matrix. If the insert is long, the oblique insertion method can be used; If the insert is short, the direct insertion method can be used. The depth is controlled at three to five centimeters. If the branches are too long, the depth can be increased appropriately
