1. Leaf cutting
It is best to use this method when the temperature is more than 20 degrees Celsius, but the temperature is too high. It is best not to exceed 32 degrees Celsius. The selection of leaves should follow the principle of health, firmness and no pests. The bottom should be thicker. When cutting the leaves, it should be cut off together with its petiole. You'd better detoxify the wound after cutting it off p>
Different substrates can be selected for leaf cutting. River sand or perlite are usually used. Of course, hydroponic culture can also be used to cultivate roots. After the root grows to 3 to 5cm, it can be moved to the basin p>
If you want hydroponic culture, it is worth noting that you should first prepare clean water or air the water for a few days in advance, and soak the petiole in the water for about 5cm. It is also possible for the leaf not to touch the water. Before it comes out of the root, change the water every 3 to 5 days to ensure the activity of the water p>
If you want to use soil cutting, the selection of soil is very important. It is best to choose sandy soil. Insert the cut leaves obliquely into the soil, about 3cm. During the period, ensure that the soil is sufficiently wet, and then put it in a cool place to ensure smooth air and no sunshine p>
2. Branch cutting
First, choose cuttings. Generally, choose strong branches, preferably semi lignified. Cut off the branches, each about 12 to 15cm long, and then burn the wound with fire until the white liquid no longer flows out. Cut off the leaves, insert the branches into the water and put them in a place with sufficient light. It's best to sprinkle water about 3 times a day and change the water every 2 to 4 days. Roots will grow a little more than a week. When the root grows to 3-5cm, you can move it to the basin. Fixed roots will grow in about half a month. At this time, you can gradually let it bask in the sun and soon grow new leaves p>
