1. Ramet propagation

This method applies to plants that have grown for two to three years. The specific operation is: first, separate it from the basin, pay attention not to hurt it, and remove the soil at the root; Then separate the plants by hand and divide them into small plants. Note that each plant should carry some roots; Finally, the divided plants are replanted into pots prepared in advance

After the plant is divided, it should be watered first, and then put it in a cool place for about a week. We can also apply some fertilizer to them after branching, such as horseshoe pieces, or directly add some pond mud to the bottom of the basin when preparing the basin soil

2. Cutting propagation

This method can be done at all times of the year, but it is not easy to survive if the temperature is too low. This method requires a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius

First, select plants suitable for cutting. The selected plants should be strong enough and the branches and leaves should be lush enough. After selecting the plant, make a small opening on the selected branch with a clean knife. After half a day, coat the surface of the small opening with a layer of sterilized fresh moss, and then put it in a humid environment for about 10 days. When you see the tumor like nodule at the incision, you can cut off the branch. All the branches on this branch can be cut off, leaving only two for cutting

When cutting, we can make a bag by ourselves, fill it with wet soil, poke some small holes on the outside, then insert the branches into it for about 2cm, and wrap cloth strips on the outside. Then put it in a large basin and fill it with soil

3. Sowing and propagation

In this way, the mature seed should be collected first. When the seed skin is soft and black, it means that it is mature. After collecting the seeds, strictly wash them and dry them before saving them. Wait until April next year before sowing

Before sowing, prepare sandy soil first. If you use a basin, you'd better choose a tile basin. Of course, a wooden basin is also OK. When planting, poke a planting hole every 3 cm, and put 3 seeds in each hole. Then spread a thin layer of soil on it, usually 5cm. After planting, water it with water and cover it with fresh-keeping film to keep it moist. The best temperature is about 25 ℃
