1、 Breeding environment

2. Watering: generally, it is necessary to wait until the soil becomes dry before watering. However, when the weather is dry, the amount of watering should be appropriately increased. In summer or dry season, it can be placed indoors and sprayed indoors to increase the humidity in the air. There must be no ponding in the basin, otherwise it is easy to cause root rot

3. Fertilization: compound fertilizer shall be applied once a month during peak growth period, and an appropriate amount of phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer shall be applied 1-2 times after autumn. However, be careful not to apply too much, otherwise it will burn its roots and the leaves will turn yellow and fall off. There is no need to apply fertilizer in low temperature winter

4. Temperature: the temperature suitable for the growth of Ping An tree is 20-30 ℃. It is not cold resistant, and the minimum temperature can not be lower than 0 ℃. Once the temperature is too low, the leaves will wither and even be frostbitten. The temperature in winter should be controlled above 10 ℃

2、 Breeding method

1. Cutting propagation: the suitable temperature for cutting is 22-28 ℃. Cut the strong branches into 10-15 cm. It is best to leave 2-3 leaves for each section. Insert the branches into the soil for 3-5 cm, then pour water, cover them with a film and put them in a cool place

2. Sowing and reproduction: put the selected seeds in a cool environment and wait for the seeds to crack the white hole before sowing. Generally, the method of on-demand sowing in the ditch is selected. After sowing, cover a layer of mud layer to keep it wet, and buds will appear in about a month

3、 Common pests

1. Aphid: it will cause insect damage to young leaves, which will not only affect its normal growth, but also affect its ornamental. After the emergence of aphids, you can sprinkle some plant ash, clean it and spray chemicals, which can effectively inhibit the spread of insect pests

2. Scale insects: usually appear on both sides of the leaves, which will make the leaves turn yellow or even fall off. After discovery, they should be sprayed with drugs in time. In case of serious cases, other indoor plants should be prevented and controlled, and the diseased leaves should be removed
