1. Basin changing time
Once in two years, it will grow faster. When the plant branches and leaves are too dense and the ratio to the basin is 3:1, it should be changed. The best time is in spring, specifically from March to May. However, if the plant grows too fast, it can also be changed in autumn. When changing pots, they can be combined with pruning. In the interval between two basin changes, the soil can be loosened from time to time p>
2. Specific steps
(1) Remove the pot: take the plant out of the pot, clean up the old soil at the root, and then rinse the root with clean water. After that, cut off the old and rotten roots p>
(2) Colonization: put the plant in the colonization basket and fix it. If you want to hydroponic culture later, you can add some stones to the hydroponic container (if the container is a fine mouth bottle, you can directly fix it with stones without planting basket), and then put the plants into the container. For example, after soil culture, it is necessary to prepare loose new soil and a larger basin suitable for the current volume of the plant. Put a part of the original soil mass in the center, put the plant in, fill it with new soil, and then pour water until excess water flows out of the basin bottom p>
3. Precautions
(1) Pay attention to the weather when changing pots, preferably on cloudy days. However, sunny days are OK without damaging the roots p>
(2) If it is soil culture, the new basin should be larger than the original basin, because the plants will be longer later, and enough space must be provided p>
