1、 Breeding environment

1. Soil: the cultivation of windmill grass does not have high requirements for soil, and it is best to use fertile soil with good water retention

2. Moisture: it likes a humid growth environment. During its growth, it should be properly watered to keep the soil moist. Water a little in winter and accept light

3. Temperature: give it a growth environment of 15-25 ℃. It is not cold resistant. The temperature should not be too low in winter. It is best to keep the temperature at about 5-10 ℃

2、 Breeding method

1. Ramet propagation: ramets are usually carried out when changing pots from April to May. The old plants are cut with tools and planted separately

2. Sowing and reproduction: the seeds shall be sown into the culture soil from March to April, properly covered with soil and watered. Cover it with a layer of glass and give it a growth environment of 20-25 ℃, and it will germinate in about 10-20 days

3. Cutting propagation: cutting can be carried out all year round. Cut 3-5cm strong top buds and insert them into the sand bed after proper pruning, so as to maintain a moist growth environment
