1、 Breeding environment

1. Soil: Yangshen xiangqu can use loose soil, which can be mixed with rotten leaf soil, coarse sand, vermiculite and perlite

2. Watering: during the growth period, there should be enough water for it to grow. Watering should be done thoroughly at one time as far as possible. Generally, watering should wait until the soil becomes dry to avoid ponding due to excessive watering. After entering the dormant state, less watering should be done to ensure that the soil is dry

3. Light: it likes a sunny growth environment, but don't be exposed to the sun. It can also be cultured in a semi shady environment. If you want it to grow stronger, you'd better let it receive sufficient light

4. Temperature: the temperature suitable for the growth of shenxiangqu is 15-25 ℃. The temperature should not be too high or too low. The minimum temperature in winter should not be lower than 7 ℃. If the temperature is too low, it will grow slowly and may be frostbitten

2、 Breeding method

Leaf cutting propagation: leaf cutting should be carried out at a temperature above 10 ℃. First, select the strong and full leaves of shenxiangqu, peel them off and dry them in a ventilated place. It takes about 1-2 days, and then put them on suitable soil. They will take root and sprout after a period of time. Do not transplant too early after germination to avoid root cutting
