1. Pedicel sprouting method

① Cut off bracts: first prepare a sterile knife, then cut off the residual flowers on the plant, and then select a strong and disease-free pedicel, cut off the bracts and expose the bud point

② Hormone treatment: apply a small amount of indole butyric acid on the exposed bud points to promote growth

③ Waiting for long leaves: put the treated plant in the semi shade and wait for it to grow leaves

④ Transplanting in different pots: cut off the young plants with leaves developed from the bud points and plant them separately

2. Seeding method

① Preparation: observe whether the pod is empty

② Natural seeding: seed the seeds emitted from the cracked capsule in the flowerpot of the parent plant. As the female parent, there may be symbiotic bacteria necessary to promote seed germination in the pot soil

③ Rooting: after the seedlings germinate, do not put the seedlings on the ground, but hang them or put them on the shelf to make the aerial roots grow smoothly

④ Transplanting: when the plant grows 3-5 leaves, it can be transplanted into the pot

Note: natural seeding method is suitable for family planting, but the survival rate is low

3. Tissue culture method

① Material selection: take the tender stem, receptacle or pedicel and other parts, cut them to appropriate size, and remove the excess part

② Disinfection: soak the surface of plant tissue to sterilize

③ Rinse: Rinse 5-10 times in sterile water for about 3 minutes each time

④ Culture medium: put the culture medium into the autoclave for sterilization, insert the explant into the culture medium and wrap the wrapping paper

⑤ Seedling refining: when the seedling grows to 1-3 roots, it shall be planted under scattered light
