1. It can be inserted
Aloe leaves can be inserted alive. However, it is less likely to grow roots. Because its leaves contain a lot of water, if it is propagated by leaf insertion, it is likely to rot before the roots grow. Only by taking the right method can we improve its rooting probability p>
2. Correct method
(1) Choose stronger leaves, about eight centimeters long. Weak aloe is not easy to survive p>
(2) After selecting the leaves, prepare a sharp knife. It can only be used after disinfection, otherwise the leaves are easy to be infected with toxic bacteria. Pay attention to oblique cutting and control the angle p>
(3) After cutting, it cannot be inserted into the soil immediately. Put them in a ventilated and cool place to dry for about two weeks. During this period of time, pay attention to the prevention of bacteria, otherwise it is easy to rot. You can use some antibacterial substances, such as cinnamon powder p>
(4) Containers should also be selected carefully. Aloe doesn't like ponding, so its drainage must be better. Drain holes shall be provided at the bottom, and shall be large enough p>
(5) Specific soil should be selected. It can also be prepared by yourself without adding some fine sand. Add some broken tiles to the bottom of the basin p>
(6) Insert the leaves down into the soil, about a third p>
(7) After insertion, place it in a well ventilated and well lit place. Keep the soil moist without ponding p>
