1、 Breeding environment

1. Soil: loose and well drained soil can be used for raising maple

2. Watering: it doesn't like too much water. It can be watered once every 1-2 days in hot weather. It must be watered thoroughly. In winter, the amount of watering should be controlled and not too much watering

3. Light: it has strong adaptability to light. If it is placed in indoor maintenance, it should be placed in a place with good light as far as possible, such as the living room and study. It should not be placed in indoor breeding for a long time, but should be properly moved out of outdoor maintenance

4. Temperature: Formosan maple is produced in subtropical areas, so the temperature should be well controlled in winter. The minimum temperature should not be lower than 8 ℃. If the temperature is low, it will grow slowly and stop growing

2、 Breeding method

Sowing and reproduction: soak the seeds in warm water for 12-24 hours. To make the seeds expand, you can sow them by strip sowing, cover one centimeter of soil, and control the temperature at about 27 ℃

3、 Common diseases and insect pests

The common disease of maple leaf is Verticillium wilt, which should be sprayed with carbendazim in time after discovery. Common diseases and pests include grubs and ground tigers. Carbofuran can be added when applying basic fertilizer
