1、 Shearing method

1. A pair of sterilized scissors shall be prepared for the hydroponic culture of green pineapple, and a section of branches with good growth shall be cut from the potted plant, and the length can be controlled at about 10cm

2. Take 4-5 leaves on the branches, preferably with aerial roots, so that it can adapt to the hydroponic environment faster. Aerial rooting is a small brown protrusion on the stem of the branch. It is best to retain one leaf and one bud point in each section

3. Cut off the leaves under the cutting branches to avoid decay when soaked in water, which will affect its normal rooting

2、 Curing method

1. Water change: it takes 2-3 days to change the water for the green pineapple selection at the beginning of hydroponic culture. If the water quality becomes turbid, it will affect the germination of new roots. In addition, the temperature of water should be close to the temperature, which is very beneficial to its rooting

2. Pruning: hydroponic culture will grow very fast. If its root system decays or is too long, it should be pruned in time. Proper pruning of rotten roots can make the main branches better absorb nutrition

3. Add nutrient solution: apply nutrient solution to it during maintenance, usually once every 10 days. It can grow faster only if the nutrient is sufficient
