1. Cutting time

If it is propagated by cutting, it has strong adaptability, which is usually possible in spring and autumn. Even in summer, cutting with twigs is OK, but it needs to meet higher cutting conditions, and the air humidity cannot be too high or too low. Usually the best cutting time is in autumn and keep the temperature between 15 and 25 degrees

2. Processing cuttings

Before cutting propagation, it is necessary to select high-quality cuttings. First select the developed strong branches, and then select the branches with short pitch and no heading to cut them. The cuttings socket should be located 0.5 to 1 cm below the stem node, and ensure the smooth incision. If there are leaves on the cuttings, two-thirds should be removed, but the phloem should not be damaged

3. Cutting method

When cutting, media containing perlite and peat shall be selected. If conditions are available at home, seedbeds can be set in the greenhouse for cutting. When cutting, the cuttings should not be cut too deep. The best is 5 to 8 cm, and the plant spacing and row spacing should be appropriate

4. Management after cutting

After cutting, it needs to be watered immediately and covered with film for moisturizing and heat preservation, so as to make it take root as soon as possible and improve the probability of survival

2、 Sowing and propagation

Harvest its mature seeds from June to July every year. First harvest its cuttings, then put them indoors and let them dry naturally. After about 10 days, its peel will begin to become brittle. At this time, rub it with your hand and then wind it, you can take out the seeds inside. It can then be sown in spring or autumn. The best medium for sowing is peat soil and a small amount of perlite, and then wet it with water to sprinkle the seeds.
