1、 Cutting time

Begonia cutting is best carried out in spring or autumn. It is best not to cut in summer. Cutting will affect survival when it is dormant. Family potted cutting can be carried out from April to May every year, and the cutting is best when the temperature is about 20 ℃

2、 Cutting method

1. Select branches: when cutting, use strong branches with a length of 5-6cm, and there should be at least 2 buds on the selected branches. Cut it at the position of 1cm below the stem node, cut off the flower bud and cut the lower end into a horseshoe shape, which can increase the basic area with the substrate

2. Preparation of substrate: prepare a suitable substrate before cutting. It is best to use river sand. Be sure to clean it and put it into the basin after drying

3. Cutting: cut the treated branches into the matrix and place them in a cool environment
