1、 Breeding environment

1. Light: hydroponic Anthurium andraeanum should be exposed to light for about 2-3 hours, and should not be in a dark and sunshine free growth environment for a long time. It's best to put it in a well ventilated place without strong light in summer

2. Temperature: the temperature in summer is relatively high, the maximum temperature shall not be higher than 28 ℃, and the minimum temperature shall not be lower than 14 ℃. When the temperature is too low, adjust the temperature appropriately to avoid frostbite

3. Change water: change water regularly, and trim the rotten roots when changing water. Usually, the water can be changed once every 2-3 days. The frequency of water change does not need to be too high. In winter, the water can be changed once every 7 days. When changing water, add a little nutrient solution appropriately

2、 Common diseases and insect pests

1. Common pests include red spider, whitefly, aphid and scale insect, which can be removed manually after being found. Ventilation shall be conducted frequently during the maintenance. If the pest is serious, chemical spraying shall be used

2. Common diseases include anthrax, leaf spot and Fusarium wilt. Once diseases are found, they should be controlled with corresponding chemicals in time. And cut off the diseased branches and leaves as soon as possible, so as not to harm more leaves
