1、 Correct hydroponic method

Cuttage directly in water to make branches take root in water, and then carry out hydroponic cultivation. In the second method, due to the change from soil to water, some problems such as rotten roots may occur due to the change of conditions, and hydroponic culture fails

Branch cutting: select the branches of 3-4 pairs of leaves, cut them off, put them in the shade for 2-3 days, and insert them into the water. In a suitable environment, root tips can be seen in about a week to complete the rooting process

2、 Precautions

1. Water quality: the ideal water source is pure water, cool and boiled. It is not recommended to use tap water directly. Other substances in the water will affect the plant

2. Container: the size of hydroponic container should be appropriate, and the mouth should have a certain size, so that there is enough air in the nutrient solution to meet the needs of root growth. Most containers are transparent. Moss will appear after receiving light for a long time. You can properly block the container and change water to control it

3. Nutrient solution: when changing the water, do not update all the nutrient solution in the container. Draw 1 / 3 to 1 / 5 of the old water from the bottom and fill it with new water. If all the water is replaced, the hydroponic environment will change dramatically and cause damage to the roots

4. Pruning: while hydroponic culture, appropriate pruning is needed to make the plant shape compact

4. Fertilizer: during hydroponic culture, some slow-release fertilizer or special nutrient solution for hydroponic culture can be added to meet its demand for fertilizer
