1、 Grafting time
Crab claw orchid grafting is generally carried out from May to October in the South and from May to September in the north. The temperature of grafting should be kept at 20-25 ℃, which can promote the healing of grafting site and improve the survival rate p>
2、 Grafting method
1. Choose rootstock: cactus can be selected as rootstock for crab claw grafting, but it is better to use ox tongue. It has great support and can hang naturally after grafting p>
2. Treatment of scion: when grafting, you can use a sharp knife. First, cut both sides of the bottom section of the scion into the shape of a duck's beak. It is best to cut it all at once, which can improve the survival rate. Cut it at the top of the rootstock with a knife, and the knife edge should be larger than the cutting surface of the scion p>
3. Grafting: after dealing with the scion and rootstock, insert the scion into the wound of the rootstock and fix it by hand for a while. Cross the cactus and thorn, connect it together, or fix it with tools p>
4. Grafting maintenance: after grafting, put it in a cool and ventilated place without being drenched by rain. Don't pour it on the interface when watering. It usually survives in 20-30 days p>
