1、 Select rhizome
Planting aster is generally carried out in spring when the soil thaws to a depth of about 10 cm. The rhizome with strong growth, dense and short nodes and dormant period should be selected as the seedling. Cut a small segment with a length of about 5-7 cm, and ensure that each segment has 2-3 dormant buds, which is more conducive to survival
2、 Planting in soil
Plant immediately after cutting. When planting, open a 25-30cm wide horizontal ditch on the sorted border surface, and the ditch depth is 5-7cm. Put the bud eye upward into the ditch and place 1-2 segments every 15-17 cm. Then cover it with a layer of soil, make it flush with the border surface, and compact the soil slightly
3、 Post planting curing
After planting, water it immediately, cover it with grass for heat preservation and moisture retention, and remove it after seedling emergence
