1、 Cutting time
Ivy cutting time mainly depends on whether the temperature is appropriate. It is generally carried out in spring and autumn. The specific time is from April to May and from August to September, and the survival rate is high p>
2、 Cutting preparation
1. Cuttings: select the branches with a length of about 30cm at the top, carefully check whether there are insects on them, and select the branches without insects at all. After that, cut it into small segments with a length of about 8 to 9 cm (pay attention to scissors, not hands, otherwise it will hurt the tissue at the wound). Cut off the leaves at the bottom, leaving two to four leaves at the top p>
2. Substrate: the substrate should be breathable, such as sand, etc p>
3. Container: disposable plastic cup can be used, which has many advantages. It can hold less substrate, dry faster, and will not rot the cuttings due to too much watering. Moreover, when transplanting, it is also simple. Just knock the plant out in turn p>
3、 Cutting
After the preparation is done, put the matrix into the cup, then poke the hole with chopsticks and other tools, insert the insert, fill in a layer of matrix, and compact the soil. Place it where there is no direct light. Water it once every two days a week. After a week, reduce the watering times. New roots can grow in about half a month to 20 days p>
