How to Plant a Young Apple Tree

Planting a young apple tree may seem like a daunting task, but with proper preparation and care, it can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Here are the steps to successfully plant a young apple tree:

Choose the Right Location

The first step in planting a young apple tree is to choose the right location. Apple trees need full sunlight and well-drained soil to thrive. Look for a spot in your yard that gets at least six hours of direct sunlight each day and has good drainage to prevent waterlogging.

It’s also important to consider the proximity to other trees, structures, and powerlines. Apple trees need adequate space to grow, so make sure to plant at least 10 feet away from other trees and structures.

Prepare the Soil
