How to Plant a Tree Sapling in a Pot

Planting a tree sapling in a pot is an easy and rewarding gardening task. It’s a great way to add some greenery to your home or attract beneficial wildlife to your garden. Follow the steps below to plant a tree sapling in a pot:

Step 1: Choose the Right Pot and Soil

The first step is to choose the right pot and soil. Choose a pot that is at least twice as big as the root ball of the sapling to allow room for growth. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging. Use a high-quality potting mix that contains peat moss or compost for moisture retention and nutrients.
