How to Plant a Tree in Burlap

Planting a tree is a great way to improve the beauty and functionality of your outdoor space. If you've purchased a tree that's wrapped in burlap, you'll need to take a few extra steps to ensure it gets off to a healthy start. Follow these steps to successfully plant a tree in burlap.

Step 1: Choose the Right Spot

The location you choose for your tree is critical for its long-term health. Be sure to pick a spot that provides adequate sunlight, good drainage, and enough room for the tree to grow. Before digging, check for any underground utilities or structures that could be damaged during the planting process.

Step 2: Dig a Hole
