1. Mother plant selection

Select plants with strong growth, full leaves and large enough lateral buds. Breaking lateral buds belongs to large operation. Do not break those with weak growth for the time being

2. Debasing

Dig out the whole meat from the basin and gently shake off the soil without damaging the root system

3. Breaking lateral bud

After cleaning the soil, break off the side buds one by one. Note that if the lateral bud is too small, don't break it. It's not easy to survive. Move gently and try not to hurt the mother plant. After breaking, put it in a cool and ventilated place to dry for 2 days

4. Upper basin

Plant the dried lateral buds and mother plants in two large pots respectively. The soil should be loose and breathable, keep semi dry, and put them in a cool place to wait for rooting

5. Transplanting

Ventilation and astigmatism maintenance. Without watering for the time being, new roots can grow in about 10 ~ 15 days. After rooting for 2 weeks, transplant each lateral bud into a small flower pot. One pot will become more immediately, and the pot will burst next spring

It's not a matter of exploding pots after autumn

1. Illumination

After the beginning of autumn, don't suddenly direct the strong light, gradually move from the scattered light to the place with more light, and slowly increase the light to avoid being sunburned by the autumn tiger. If it is not easy to control, it can be maintained in full light in the morning and evening and shaded at noon

2. Watering

In early autumn, water once every two weeks. Don't water too often to avoid overgrowth. Open the window for ventilation immediately after watering

3. Fertilization

After the dormancy period, the growth is accelerated, and the fertilizer should keep up, but it can't be served by large fertilizer, and the deficiency is not supplemented. You can bury several slow-release fertilizers in the soil and keep away from the roots

4. Clean up dead leaves

Clean up the dry sunburn and fallen leaves in time to reduce the infection of diseases and pests

5. Pest control

Late summer and early autumn is the time when all kinds of insects are in flood. You can directly bury drugs in the soil to prevent insects, such as imidacloprid and carbofuran
