Operation method:

1. Prepare sponge and cut into small pieces

The old sofa sponge, dishwashing sponge and shoe polishing sponge at home are OK, but they should be cleaned in advance. It's not good to have greasy things and shoe polish. Handle and cut into pieces the size of mahjong for standby

2. Sponge cut a seam

This is a new sponge, which is quite elastic. Cut it from the middle. Don't cut it too hard. I feel it can be closed by the elasticity of the sponge

3. Insert flower branches

Put the flower branches to be cut into the cracks of the sponge

4. Put it into the small slot

The small trough for cutting is generally not available at home. It can be replaced by moon cake trough and dim sum trough. After inserting the cuttings into the sponge, wet the sponge and put it in a ventilated and cool place for rooting

5. Keep the sponge moist

While waiting for rooting, keep the sponge moist. You can see the roots emerge in about a week. The sponge cuttings can be taken up for a look. This advantage is very convenient

6. When the root system grows to 2-3cm, it can be planted

After cutting for about half a month, dense white roots will appear on the sponge, which can be planted in the basin at this time. Small sponges don't need to be taken down. Large sponges can be cut off and planted in the soil with sponges

7. Take the basin like this after planting

It takes more than a week for the planted flowers to adapt. After planting and watering the root fixing water, they should be placed in a ventilated environment at home. They don't need to be watered every day. They can be watered after about 3 days

8. After taking the basin, slowly bask in the sun

After taking the pot, the flowers slowly recover their spirit and can be properly dried. The sunshine in the morning is the most precious, and the flowers grow fast after drying. The time to bask in the sun every day slowly increases, and it can be maintained normally in more than ten days

Sponge can not only cuttage, but also hydroponic culture

Sponge cutting rooting is so powerful that we can also use hydroponic culture, such as green pineapple, bamboo taro, white palm and so on. It can take root quickly and has strong resistance

Operation method:

1. Cut the sponge into a circle the same size as the mouth of the vase and cut out a "Y" shape like the figure below

2. Insert the flowers into the sponge

Insert the flower branches to be hydroponically cultured into the sponge, and the bottom should be exposed for about 2 cm

3. Put into the water separation net

4. Put it into the water basin
