What is "clip arrow"

Cause:

When the flowers and arrows of Clivia grow, the ambient temperature is lower than 15 ℃

Clivia is short of water and fertilizer, resulting in poor flower stem growth

How to prevent:

1. If you want Clivia to blossom, we should give it a proper low temperature in autumn. It's best to keep it between 5 ℃ and 10 ℃ and keep it low without freezing damage. In other words, we'd better come in late~

After moving indoors, increase the temperature difference between day and night, and keep the temperature at about 20 ℃ after the arrow is out. Once it is found that it is possible to clip the arrow, increase the temperature immediately

2. Before entering the room, when the temperature is low, the interval between watering should be long. After moving into a warm room, we can water more appropriately, especially after drawing arrows, to ensure sufficient water supply

3. Increase the application of liquid fertilizer to prevent the plant from catching arrows. In autumn, fertilizer based on phosphorus and potassium should be added to promote the arrow drawing and flowering of Clivia.
