How to Plant a Money Plant in a Pot

If you're looking for an easy and low-maintenance plant to add to your indoor plant collection, a money plant might be the perfect fit. Also known as Devil's Ivy, Golden Pothos, or Epipremnum aureum, this popular houseplant is great for beginners because it's hardy and forgiving.

Choose the Right Pot and Soil

The first step in planting a money plant in a pot is selecting the right container. Choose a pot that's big enough for your plant, but not too big that it will hold too much soil or water. The pot should have drainage holes at the bottom to prevent overwatering.

Next, you'll want to choose the right soil. Money plants can thrive in almost any type of soil, but a well-draining potting mix is best. You can either buy a pre-mixed potting soil or mix your own by combining equal parts sand, perlite, and peat moss.

Prepare the Plant
