1、 Select soil

Select sandy soil with sufficient nutrients and good drainage. You can configure the soil yourself and mix it with rotten leaf soil, garden soil and sand. When configuring the soil, an appropriate amount of base fertilizer can be added to provide sufficient nutrients for its growth

2、 Select flowerpot

Hupilan needs flowerpots with good air permeability and drainage, so the use of ceramic pots will be more suitable for its growth

3、 Planting method

Cut its leaves into small segments about 10 cm long, put them in the shade for a few days, and then insert them into the river sand or perlite prepared in advance. The depth is about 3 or 4 cm, and they will take root almost a month later. When new buds grow at the bottom, it can be transplanted in pots

4、 Maintenance after planting

Hupilan is usually kept in a cool place for maintenance. It must not be directly exposed to the sun for a long time. The best ambient temperature is 20 to 30 ℃, and it should be placed indoors in winter. Watering should be appropriate, preferably in the morning or evening
