1、 Grafting time
The grafting time of plum trees is around July. The peripheral branches should be peeled about 7 to 10 days before and after grafting, so as to promote the maturity of scion p>
2、 Grafting method
1. Rootstock treatment: cut the stumps of peach, plum or cherry to be grafted at a distance of 6 to 10 cm from the ground as the Rootstock to be grafted p>
2. Scion treatment: use the well-developed and abundant 1-year-old, disease-free and semi lignified branches as the scion, cut them into small segments of about 7 cm, leave about 5 to 7 buds as the scion, and wrap the collected buds with wet cloth p>
3. Grafting: cut the rootstock into a 3 cm long cut with a grafting knife, cut the scion into a wedge-shaped cut, and leave 2 to 3 buds. Then insert the scion into the split and align the cambium. Then wrap it with transparent plastic strips and wrap it tightly, so as to successfully complete the grafting p>
