1、 Treatment of seeds

The seed shell of Zanthoxylum bungeanum is hard, oily and impermeable, so it is difficult to germinate. Therefore, before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in alkaline water, and then the empty seeds, shelter seeds and broken seeds should be picked out and soaked in alkaline water for two days. The seeds should be repeatedly scrubbed, and the oil in the seed coat should be scrubbed clean, then fished out, scrubbed with clean water and ready for sowing

2、 Sow

Select the fertile sandy soil with sufficient sunshine, leeward, sunny and good drainage. Before sowing, prepare the land for deep ploughing, add rotten organic fertilizer, straighten the border 6 to 10 meters long and 1 to 1.2 meters wide, dig out the planting ditch 1 cm deep and 9 cm wide, sow the seeds, then cover the soil about 1 cm above the cover, pour water, cover the bed with a straw curtain to moisturize, and the seedlings will be unearthed in about 4 to 5 days and come out in about 10 days
