1、 Breeding method
For Prunus pumila, there are many breeding methods available, and almost all of them are suitable for it. There are five commonly used methods: grafting, cutting, branching, layering and sowing p>
2、 Reproductive steps
1. Grafting method: bud grafting and branch grafting are OK, but the time is different. Budding can be at the end of August and branch grafting can be in spring. First of all, rootstocks should be selected, and the seedlings of wild rose can be used. Then select a strong mother plant and the annual branches on it as scions. After selection, the scion is grafted on the rootstock and carefully maintained p>
2. Cutting method: this method is best to use the healthy twigs born in the same year at the turn of spring and summer. After cutting off the branches, choose the strongest part on the top, with a length of five to fifteen centimeters and at least three nodes. Then prepare a breathable matrix. Then insert the insert into the matrix obliquely and maintain it carefully p>
3. Ramet method: it can be carried out in spring or autumn. Choose a lush and strong mother plant and divide it into several pieces from the root. Trim each piece to reduce evaporation. Then plant them separately p>
4. Layering method: first select strong branches and peel off the bark 15 to 30 cm from the top. Then wrap this part with a piece of plastic film and tie it tightly. It will take root in about a month or a half p>
5. Sowing method: spring and autumn. Select full seeds, sow them on the thick flower soil, and maintain them carefully p>
