The leaves and roots of Clivia are relatively thick, so we need appropriate environment and sufficient nutrients in maintenance to germinate new leaves. We mainly increase nutrition from the aspects of light, soil, water and fertilizer p>
1、 Illumination
If light loving plants want to grow new leaves, they must provide sufficient light. If the light is insufficient and the plant has no nutrients, the existing nutrients should maintain the plant survival. Of course, it can not form new leaves. During home maintenance, we can prevent it from being near the south window or the southeast balcony with good ventilation and light p>
2、 Soil
Its root system is special. It is a strong fleshy root and has high requirements for soil. The root system can absorb enough nutrients from the soil to promote the growth of new leaves. Therefore, it is best to choose loose and fertile humus soil when transplanting. At the same time, the soil should be sparse and breathable to ensure good drainage. When changing pots and soil in spring, an appropriate amount of base fertilizer should be added to the soil to ensure fertile soil p>
3、 Fertilization
Clivia needs a lot of nutrients in the process of growing new leaves. You can apply an appropriate amount of oil crops as fertilizer, or apply once fermented soybean cake fertilizer and water for about half a month to promote the rapid extraction of new leaves p>
4、 Watering
Observe the state of basin soil. After drying, pour water once, and each time the water flows out of the drainage hole, so as to avoid ponding caused by frequent watering or excessive water, resulting in rotten roots, otherwise it will not grow new leaves, but also lead to plant death p>
