1、 Cutting method
This is its main breeding method, with high survival rate and simple operation method. The main steps are as follows:
1. Time: it's ok as long as the temperature is appropriate. Generally speaking, it's OK from March to October, but it's best from May to July p>
2. Matrix: the main requirement is breathable and nutritious. Sandy soil with much humus can be used p>
3. Cuttings: select mature branches that are one to two years old. Cut it into small sections 15 to 20 cm long, each with several sections. Then prune, the upper end is cut flat, the bottom end is cut into an oblique mouth, and the leaves of the lower two nodes are cut off, and the top part of the leaves are also cut off. After treatment, put it in a cup with water, let the water submerge one or two sections at the lower end of it, soak it for two days, and then take it out to dry p>
4. Cutting: put the substrate into a container and wet it with water. Then use a small stick and other tools to make several holes in the matrix and insert the cuttings, so that one-third to one-half of the whole cuttings are not buried in the soil. The substrate is then compacted and covered with a plastic bag p>
2、 Grafting method
Grafting is also a common way. Semi lignified leaf cactus branches and cactus balls can be used. First cut off part of the skin of the branch with a blade. Select another cactus about one centimeter in size, cut off the center at the bottom, and then insert the branches into it. Then put it in a ventilated and bright place for curing p>
