1、 How often

Its growth has extremely strict requirements for water, watering cannot be too frequent, and the basin soil cannot be too dry. How often it is watered has the greatest relationship with seasonal climate. It grows faster in spring and autumn. It should not be short of water. It should be watered once a week. In summer, the temperature is high and the water evaporates quickly. The frequency should be increased appropriately, about once every three or four days, but there is much rain in summer. If it is rainy, the frequency should be reduced appropriately. Water should be controlled in winter. If it is not dry, there is no need to water it. It is about once a half month. Note that these frequencies are not absolutely fixed and should be changed according to the actual situation

2、 Judgment method

1. Toothpick insertion: insert a toothpick into the surface of the basin soil, about 45 cm, and take it out after five minutes. If there is no moisture, it means it is dry and needs watering

2. Insert plastic pipe: prepare a slightly thicker plastic pipe, tie several small holes in the lower part, cut it into an inclined plane, and bury it in the soil, about 8 to 10 cm deep. Then insert the cotton swab into the other end and check it after five minutes. If the cotton swab has no moisture, it means it's time to water

3. Weigh basin: this method needs to be experienced to be more effective. Directly hold up the flowerpot with both hands and weigh it. If it feels much lighter than usual, it proves that the soil is almost dry and needs watering
