1、 Breeding conditions
1. Water quality
Hydroponic lotus bamboo needs clean and germ free water. If it is mineral water, it can be used directly. If it is just connected tap water, it needs to be used after drying treatment, because the just connected tap water contains chlorine, which is not conducive to plant growth. After the plant takes root, try to use tap water, because the water contains a lot of nutrients, which is very helpful to its growth p>
2. Illumination
Although it is not resistant to strong light, it also needs an appropriate amount of sunlight to metabolize normally. Especially for plants maintained indoors, we must ensure sufficient sunshine. Generally, the light in the morning and afternoon is mild and can be directly irradiated. When the sun is strong at noon, it should be shaded p>
3. Change water
Before the roots grow, change the water more frequently, because there are many bacteria in the water, which is easy to be infected. After it grows roots, there is no need to change the water. Just add water, but when adding water, the water cannot cover the roots, and half of it should be left in the air to facilitate its breathing p>
4. Fertilization
Hydroponic lotus bamboo does not need fertilization before it grows roots. After it grows roots, it needs to be fertilized once a month. Fertilization is to put liquid fertilizer into the water p>
2、 Breeding method
It can be cultivated by cutting. Select healthy branches, insert them into the water, and put them in a semi shady place for maintenance. The roots will grow in about a week. After the roots come out, they can continue to be maintained with water or planted in the soil p>
3、 Pest control
Hydroponic plants are easy to be infected with pests. If they are found, they should be sprayed with sterilized spirit. They need to be mixed with water before spraying p>
