1、 Sowing time
Okra prefers a warm growth environment and is afraid of cold, so the whole growth period should be in the frost free period as far as possible. The time of flowering and fruiting should also be arranged in the warm and humid season as far as possible. If it is planted outdoors, the South and north can choose to sow from April to June and harvest from July to October. North China usually sows seeds from mid April to May p>
2、 Precautions
1. Loam: it has strong adaptability to the soil. Basically, it can accept all the soil p>
2. Temperature: it likes a warm growth environment. It can germinate at a temperature of no less than 15 ℃ during planting, no less than 17 ℃ in flowering season and no less than 14 ℃ at night p>
3. Light: it likes sunshine very much. When planting, it should leave enough space between plants as far as possible, plant reasonably and closely, and avoid mutual shading and affecting ventilation p>
4. Moisture: it is resistant to moisture but not waterlogging. It should always maintain the moisture of the loam during the growth period. However, if there is too much moisture, it may lead to poor seedling development. If it is too dry in the fruiting period, it will lead to the difference of plant quality and poor growth p>
