How to Plant Lychee Seed in a Pot

Lychees are sweet, succulent fruits that are popular in many tropical countries. If you want to grow your own lychee tree, you can start by planting the seed in a pot. Here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Get Your Lychee Seed

The first step is to obtain the lychee seed. You can buy fresh lychees from a local market or grocery store and extract the seed yourself. Alternatively, you can order lychee seeds online if you can't find fresh lychees in your area.

Step 2: Soak the Seed

Before planting the lychee seed, you need to soak it in water for a few hours. This will help soften the outer shell, making it easier to remove. You can use room temperature water for this step.
