1、 Breeding conditions

1. Water quality: when the room temperature reaches above 20 ℃, change the water once every 2-3 days; When the temperature is about 15 ℃ - 20 ℃, change the water once every 3-7 days; When the temperature is lower than 15 ℃, change the water once a week

2. Light: it prefers sunlight. The suitable temperature is 15 ℃ - 25 ℃. Allowing lily to receive sunlight for 6 hours a day can advance its flowering period, otherwise it will be delayed

3. Fertilization: because it is planted in water, the nutrition is certainly not as good as that planted in soil. Therefore, an appropriate amount of nutrient solution can be poured into water to meet the nutritional needs during plant growth

2、 Breeding method

1. Scales: you can choose the seed ball grown in autumn. After stripping the outer layer of scales, you can select the strong and thick scales. When stripping, you'd better leave a part of disc base tissue on each scale, and insert the sown scales into the loam after cleaning

2. Sub ball: during the growth of lily, small white ball will be produced next to the mother plant. It is notified that the small ball root can be used directly to reproduce, which saves a lot of time than the way of scale

3、 Pest control

1. The symptom of Lily latent hidden mosaic disease is that there will be spots of different colors on the leaves. The plants grow very short and the leaves have a little curl. If this situation is found, the diseased leaves should be pulled out and destroyed in time

2. In the early stage of spot disease, there will be small spots on the leaves. If not treated in time, they will expand into brown spots and turn black in the middle. It is found that in the early stage, the leaves need to be cut off and sprayed with pesticides to cut off the spread of the virus
