How to Plant Cherry Tree

Cherry trees are a beautiful addition to any garden or yard. Not only do they produce sweet, juicy fruit, but they also offer stunning blooms in the spring. If you're interested in growing your own cherry tree, here's how to do it.

Choose Your Cherry Variety

The first step in planting a cherry tree is choosing the variety that you want to grow. Some popular varieties include Bing, Rainier, and Montmorency. Consider your climate, soil type, and available space when selecting a variety. You'll also want to decide whether you want to plant a bare-root, container-grown, or a balled-and-burlapped tree.

Pick the Right Location
