1、 Seed selection
Seeds for planting can be purchased. It is best to choose seeds with large, full and good quality. Or harvest it yourself. Its seeds mature in August every year and can be harvested around July. Seed collection must be carried out before August. If it is delayed, the seeds will be too mature, which will affect the germination rate p>
2、 Pre
Peony seeds need pre-treatment before sowing. Impurities and shriveled seeds in the seeds need to be selected and soaked in warm water at about 50 ℃ for 24-48 hours. This can effectively float and filter out the plump seeds, soften the seed epidermis and improve the germination rate p>
3、 Soil preparation
The requirements of peony on soil are not very great. It is OK to choose sandy soil or loam with good aeration, which has a wide range of adaptability to soil. Don't use too heavy and sticky soil p>
4、 Planting
Dig a small pit no more than 5cm deep in the flowerpot, put in the seeds, bury them in the soil, gently compact them by hand, pour them with water once, and then put the flowerpot in a cool and ventilated place to wait patiently for germination p>
