How to Replant a Money Tree

A money tree, also known as Pachira Aquatica, is a popular houseplant that is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, it is quite easy to care for and maintain. However, there may come a time when your money tree outgrows its pot or its soil becomes depleted which may call for replanting. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to repot your money tree.

Step 1: Choose the Right Pot

The first step in replanting your money tree is to select an appropriate pot for it. The new pot should be a few inches larger in diameter than the current pot to accommodate the plant's growth. It is best to choose a pot that has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Step 2: Prepare the Potting Mix

The next step is to prepare the potting mix for your money tree. The ideal potting mix should be well-draining, fertile, and nutrient-rich. A suitable mix can be made by combining equal parts of peat moss, vermiculite, and perlite.
