1、 Cutting time
The cutting of green pineapple is best carried out from April to August. At this time, the temperature and humidity are very stable, and the rooting speed of branches will be faster after cutting. If it is carried out in the greenhouse, it can be carried out at any time of the year. Outdoor cutting should be avoided in midsummer or severe winter as far as possible. Too cold or too hot is unfavorable to its rooting p>
2、 Correct cutting method
1. Matrix: loose and breathable matrix should be prepared before cutting, and vermiculite can be used. Be sure to disinfect before use. Do not use soil with bacteria. Only in this way can it take root easily p>
2. Cuttings: cut a semi lignified cuttings on the mother plant, the length can be maintained at about 10-15cm, and the branches should be strong enough and disease-free. Moreover, it is best to have 2 bud points on the cuttings, which can increase the survival rate p>
3. Treatment: use the blade to cut the bottom of the insert into an inclined plane with an angle of 45 °, and only 2-3 pieces at the top of the blade can be retained. After pruning, soak it in rooting water for a while and take it out for standby p>
4. Cutting: before cutting branches, spray the substrate wet with a watering can, and then insert the cuttings into half the depth of the soil to keep the substrate slightly wet, and it will take root in 15-20 days p>
