1、 Cut branches
For Hydrangea to take root in hydroponic culture, it is best to choose healthy and strong branches, not too thin branches. Such weak branches are difficult to take root in hydroponic culture. Using the newly cut branches, the rooting speed is relatively fast. The length of the cuttings should be cut to about 10cm, and there should be 1-2 bud points on it p>
2、 Processing
Use scissors or hands to remove several leaves at the lower end of the branch and keep 1-2 leaves at the top. If the top leaf is relatively large, it is best to cut it in half, so that it will not consume too much water. Prepare an appropriate amount of rooting water and put the treated branches in. The treated branches are easier to take root p>
3、 Hydroponic method
Find a clean transparent container of appropriate size, put an appropriate amount of purified water in it, and fix the branches in the water. During its rooting, it needs to change the water in time. If the branches rot before growing roots, they should be treated quickly or re pruned for hydroponic culture p>
4、 Hydroponic maintenance
When the branches grow roots, try to put them in a dark place and don't be exposed to too strong sunlight. The maintenance position should not be blown by the wind, otherwise the water contained in the branches will be lost, which is unfavorable to its rooting p>
